MIAMI – The wife of Brandon Marshall has been released on bond after authorities say she stabbed the Miami Dolphins wide receiver. According to a Broward County Sheriff's Office arrest report, Michi Nogami-Marshall stabbed her husband in the abdomen with a kitchen knife Friday evening. The report says she told officers she was defending herself.

Richard Burr, but she still trails by a wide margin a week before the election, according to a WRAL News Poll released Tuesday. SurveyUSA polled 1,000 North Carolina residents Friday through Monday; 857 were registered voters and 590 said they were likely to vote. Update:Police released information Tuesday afternoon saying Rafael Garcia may have fired at least one round from a weapon during this morning’s harrowing domestic incident. Police also said that Garcia is a deputy U.S. Marshal, assigned to New Jersey. The victim today is described as Garcia’s 44-year-old girlfriend.
